Curved staircases are an architect's dream and a builder's nightmare.  Whether the staircase is ornamental or designed to carry a lot of foot traffic, the angles, radius and materials must be fabricated to very exacting tolerances.  You get one shot to get it right so it fits together when it's on-site.  Very few fabricators in the country have the experience in creating metal and stainless steel commercial and institutional curved and sweeping staircases that Specialty Welding and Fabricating of NY does.  Our manufacturing process involves a great deal of collaboration between our manufacturing engineers, production team and the architect.

We can combine wood, stone or marble risers within the metal framework of a free-standing or integrated application.  Complex inside / outside radius designs with multiple curves / sweeps and multi-level installations are a specialty.  Our ability to create flairs, stylized landings and innovative stainless steel handrails incorporating cable, tempered glass and metal fabrications are continuously monitored with extensive quality control protocols.
